Attractions

Biophysical:


  •  The Flying Reef is a dive site on the Atlantic side of Tobago. It’s called a the “Flying Reef” because of the stronger current that’s makes parts of the reef look like they’re flying in the water. It is also popular because of the variety of sea life, and beautiful coral.
  • Englishman’s Bay is the perfect spot to get away from all the tourists. It’s a quiet beach that’s yet to be taken over by hotels and tourist attractions. Englishman’s Bay is said to be one of the best photo spots in Tobago. The beach is free to the public and has cheap drinks and food so you can enjoy your time on the beach.
  • Argyle waterfall is the highest waterfall in Tobago, at 54m tall. There are guides to lead you around the attraction, and then you get time without the guide to explore and swim. The cost of the tour is TT$30. 
Cultural:


  • Fort king George is located in Scarborough,Tobago and allows you to get a great view of the town. The fort was built in the 1780s and overlooks Scarborough bay. You can still see the old lighthouse, the officers’ mess and several cannons. As well, some of the original brick and stone walls still stand today. Also on the grounds of the fort is the Tobago Museum. 
  • The Tobago museum has a variety of interesting artifacts from WWII and African art displaying the slavery history of the Tobago citizens.
